Position:  Physical Therapist - Outpatient

Position Requirements:

Graduate from an accredited physical therapy program

Holds Pennsylvania Physical Therapist License

Team oriented culture and approach

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Evaluate patients using diagnostic functional testing in accordance with the Pennsylvania PT Practice Act

Plans individuals physical therapy programs for each patient including exercise and functional training in a safe manner

Provides direction and supervision for patients with appropriate level of support including active, active assisted, passive exercises, neuromuscular reeducation, and functional transfers and training using appropriate assistive devices and equipment as appropriate

Coordinates Physical Therapy intervention and care with other participants on the care team

Participates in educational in-services for team members directly and indirectly connected with the therapy department

Delegates appropriate rehab tasks to support personnel including physical therapist assistants and rehab assistants as needed

Appropriately applies and uses established policies and procedures, abides by environmental and infection control standards and guidelines
