Online Part-Time Teacher for Computer Science and Programming including C++ Programming Language.

Introduction

Princeton Learning Experience International School (PLE) is currently seeking online teachers of Computer Programming especially for C++. This is a long term collaboration with an annual renewable contract.

Job Description

-Teach computer programming concepts and language ( C++) to students using the Programming & Coding curriculum.

-Guide students through coding projects and challenges, offering support and encouragement.

-Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages creativity and problem-solving.

-Assist students in troubleshooting technical issues and debugging code.

-Monitor student progress and provide feedback to students as needed.

-Collaborate with other instructors to develop and refine curriculum materials.

-Stay up-to-date on the latest trends and developments in technology and education.

-Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and other professional development activities.

Qualifications

-Enrolled in an Bachelor's degree program in computer science, engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

-Proficiency in one or more programming languages commonly used in the Code curriculum ( such as C++, Scratch, Python, JavaScript, etc.).

-Experience working with children or adolescents in an educational or mentorship role.

-Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

-Patience, creativity, and a passion for teaching and learning.

-Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

-Familiarity with educational technology tools and resources.

-Background check may be required depending on local regulations.
