Product Feature Discovery Associate

Product Feature Discovery Associate (Part-Time, Remote)

We're hiring a Product Feature Discovery Associate to help uncover high-impact opportunities for our AI-powered browser assistant used by professionals in complex, fast-paced industries like automotive, finance, and services.

This is a part-time, paid role ideal for an MBA or master’s student with a strong product mindset, sharp analytical thinking, and a curiosity about how AI (particularly LLMs) can automate meaningful real-world work.

🔍 What You'll Do

Conduct structured interviews with users (e.g. auto dealership staff) to understand workflows, pain points, and context

Identify opportunities to automate or streamline key tasks using our AI assistant

Collaborate with the founder and product team to propose and prioritize “toolbar actions” based on user needs and technical feasibility

Design light-weight tests of AI prompt-based actions and workflows

Help shape the early product roadmap with user-driven insights

⚙️ Who You Are

Deeply organized and excellent at follow-through

Comfortable speaking with users and drawing structured insight from unstructured conversations

Curious about how AI (LLMs) can be practically applied—not just theory

A strong communicator, able to write clearly and think strategically

Product-aware—you ask not just what users say they want, but what will actually help them

🕒 Details

Hours: During the summer, we're looking for 20–40 hours/week, depending on your availability. If it’s a good mutual fit, we’d love to continue into the fall semester at a lighter pace—typically around 10 hours/week.

Timing: August 1 – December 1 (flexible; possibility of extension)

Location: Remote

Availability: Should include morning hours in Eastern Time

Authorization: US work authorization required (no visa sponsorship)

🎓 Ideal Background

MBA or technical master’s student (e.g. Management Science, Information Systems, HCI, or Product/Engineering programs)

Previous experience in product, consulting, research, or operations a plus—but not required

Experience with prompt engineering, UX testing, or applied AI is helpful, but not expected
