Solar Field Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Field Electrical Engineer. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, installing, and maintaining solar power systems for residential, commercial, and industrial clients. This role requires a hands-on approach and the ability to work in diverse environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and plan electrical systems for solar panel installations, ensuring compliance with industry standards and local regulations.
  • Perform site assessments to determine the best placement and configuration for solar panels.
  • Install, test, and commission solar panels and related electrical components, including inverters, batteries, and wiring.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to solar panel systems.
  • Conduct regular maintenance and inspections of installed solar systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with other team members, including project managers, electricians, and technicians, to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to clients and stakeholders throughout the installation process.
  • Prepare and maintain detailed documentation of installations, including schematics, diagrams, and reports.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, advancements, and best practices in solar technology.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience in electrical engineering, specifically with solar panel systems.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and regulations related to solar installations.
  • Proficiency in using electrical design software and tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to various job sites.
