Quality Engineer Analyst

The role involves leading process improvement initiatives using tools like 5S, root cause analysis, Six Sigma, and time and motion studies to eliminate quality losses in a Distribution Center. Key responsibilities include:

  • KPI Analysis and Loss Elimination: Delivering expected results through KPI analysis and creating standard work to reduce process variation.
  • Project Support: Assisting area managers with quality-focused process improvement projects and reviewing deviations from the One Best Way playbooks.
  • WPS Program Deployment: Supporting the tactical deployment of the Quality Excellence WPS program and managing top quality loss projects.
  • Profile Analysis and Metrics: Creating quality loss profiles and performance metrics, and developing gap analysis for WPS integration.
  • Support and Supervision: Supporting department managers with WPS programs, projects, and KPI improvements, and providing supervision and development opportunities for associates.
  • Policy and Ethics: Promoting company policies, mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity, while ensuring compliance with company procedures.
  • Implementation of Business Solutions: Building relationships with key stakeholders, identifying business needs, and overseeing the implementation of necessary processes and practices.
  • Continuous Improvement: Recognizing and capitalizing on improvement opportunities and promoting continuous learning and adaptability.
