2D Cartoon Animator

About the Role:
We’re looking for a creative and reliable 2D animator to help bring the Memerverse to life—our original character-driven cartoon series featuring Memer and friends in short, high-energy skits and meme-inspired scenes.

This isn’t just lip-syncing to voiceovers—we’re talking expressive reactions, comedic timing, and stylized movement that captures the tone of the internet. Think Looney Tunes meets modern meme culture.

What You'll Do:

Animate short 15–60 second sequences using provided character rigs and references

Collaborate with writers and editors to match comedic timing and emotional beats

Create clean, expressive movement loops, reactions, and simple scene transitions

Help shape visual storytelling in a way that fits TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and reels

Maintain consistency with Memer's established look and animation style

What We're Looking For:

Strong skills in 2D character animation (Adobe Animate, Toon Boom, or similar)

Experience working with expressive facial animation and body language

A sense of humor and understanding of meme culture, internet trends, and Gen Z tone

Bonus if you’ve worked on animated skits, YouTube content, or fast-paced formats

Must be able to hit quick turnaround times and collaborate remotely

Nice to Have:

Familiarity with Adobe Character Animator

Experience animating stylized characters with bold expressions and comedic pacing

Comfort animating from scripts, storyboards, or rough audio
