Assurance Intern

The Assurance Services Group’s Interns are immersed in the daily activities of the group and are given the opportunity to have hands-on experience with a variety of work performed for Dopkins’ clients. The Assurance Intern’s role is one typically of learning and applying technical skills and working as part of a team. You will be actively involved in performing audits and consulting work at our clients’ offices under the supervision and coaching of the Assurance Services Team.  During your time with us, you will:

• Develop technical skills both on the job and through formal learning channels.
• Work effectively to complete project components and assignment tasks on budget.
• Build working relationships at peer client level and seek to gain knowledge of client businesses.
• Identify task issues as well as task progress in a timely and organized manner and effectively document work.
• Build strong team relationship skills.
• Gain an understanding of the Dopkins culture and how exactly we are different from other CPA firms.
