Pay : $65,000-$75,000 yr. DOE
Community Action Marin is seeking a collaborative, analytical, and service-oriented individual to support agency-wide efforts to leverage data for enhanced service delivery, program coordination, and impact measurement. This position supports a wide range of data and reporting activities including data entry, analysis, program monitoring, report generation, and internal collaboration. Working closely with staff from the Administration and Operations teams, this role will play a vital part in advancing performance accountability and fostering a culture of data-informed decision-making to support the agency’s mission of promoting racial and economic equity and meaningful social change.
Program Monitoring & Reporting
- Monitor progress toward annual performance metrics for multiple agency programs and grants.
- Support compliance and continuous improvement efforts by ensuring accurate and complete data across systems.
- Provide routine and ad-hoc reports to frontline staff and leadership to track data completeness, identify trends, and highlight areas of improvement.
- Track outcomes and service collaboration for the Homeless Outreach program using the Homeless Management Information System (HMIS) and internal databases.
- Work with field staff at childcare sites to ensure timely and complete data collection.
Data Analysis & Systems Management
- Create and manage custom reports and analyses to explore service delivery trends, identify service gaps, and assess equity in outcomes.
- Enter, retrieve, and format data across various platforms to support grant applications, program evaluation, and external partnerships.
- Analyze cross-program and cross-agency referral activity and identify process improvements for better coordination.
- Support organization-wide technology and data management projects, including auditing and organizing digital files.
Communication & Collaboration
- Communicate findings and insights with diverse internal and external audiences using accessible and engaging formats.
- Serve as a liaison to external partners, coalitions, and working groups focused on data, evaluation, and performance outcomes.
- Collaborate with the Learning & Evaluation Manager and Communications Team to support narrative change through the integration of data, stories, and service insights.
- Assist with other learning and evaluation activities such as survey design and administration, focus group facilitation, and needs assessments.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
Experience: Experience in data collection, entry, monitoring, reporting, or analysis is required.
Experience in the nonprofit or public sector, particularly in areas such as early learning, homelessness, financial capability, employment, mental health, or safety net services, is preferred.

- Fluency in written and spoken English.
- Proficiency in written and spoken Spanish highly preferred; bilingual/multicultural candidates strongly encouraged to apply.
Software: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint. Experience with statistical analysis tools such as R, Python, SPSS, Stata, or advanced Excel is preferred. Familiarity with case management or data platforms such as HMIS, ECM, Salesforce, or similar systems is required. Experience using collaboration and project management tools such as Asana and SharePoint is also desirable.
