About the Role
Bello Machre is now accepting applications for a Residential Program Director Intern for Fall 2025. This immersive, hands-on opportunity places you alongside one of our Residential Program Directors who oversee daily operations for community homes that support individuals with developmental disabilities. You’ll gain practical experience in case management, compliance, documentation, and person-centered care—while directly impacting the lives of the people we serve.
Key Responsibilities
- Visit homes and conduct individual satisfaction surveys through direct interaction
- Review Individual Plans (IPs), daily logbooks, and behavior plans
- Support individuals in job exploration, creative activities, and community engagement
- Collaborate with Direct Support Professionals to develop new vocational or leisure opportunities
- Attend and contribute to team meetings focused on individual care and program operations
Who You Are
- Compassionate and eager to learn in a mission-driven environment
- Interested in social work, psychology, special education, or nonprofit program management
- Comfortable engaging with individuals with developmental disabilities
- Organized and detail-oriented with strong communication skills
- A team player ready to support both people and process
Internship Details
- Must be available in person 2–3 days/week
- 120-hour minimum over 8 weeks
- Part-time: 10–15 hours/week
- Must pass background checks and attend onboarding trainings
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
- Open to rising juniors/seniors, enrolled students, or professional development applicants
