POSITION STATUS: Part-time or Full-time options, flexible hours

POSITION SUMMARY:

Are you creative, organized, and digitally-savvy individual with a passion for storytelling and faith-based community engagement? We’re looking for a dynamic Social Media Content Creator and Manager who can also serve as an Assistant to the Director of Media and Technology.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

Social Media Content Creation & Management

  • Design and produce compelling video, photo, and graphic content for social platforms (Reels, Stories, Posts)
  • Write engaging copy that reflects our tone, mission, and values
  • Manage the social media content calendar and schedule posts across platforms
  • Monitor engagement, track analytics, and adapt strategies accordingly
  • Collaborate with ministry teams to highlight events, stories, and initiatives

 

Assistant to the Director of Media and Technology

  • Support video and livestream production (setup, editing, uploading)
  • Help coordinate volunteer teams (scheduling, communication)
  • Manage digital media archives and organization
  • Assist with video and audio needs for various Live events

 

Qualifications & Skills

  • Strong creative skills: photography, video editing, and/or graphic design
  • Familiarity with social platforms: Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, TikTok
  • Experience with tools like Canva, Adobe Suite, Photoshop
  • Experience with AI tools like Descript or Opus AI is a plus
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • A team player with a humble, teachable and service-oriented heart
  • Bonus: Familiarity with church production, AV tech, or livestream systems

 

Availability & Compensation

  • Flexible schedule. Sundays and some required evenings, weekends and holidays, for events and church services.
  • Compensation – Starting salary $42,500 + commensurate with experience. Full-time benefits, paid vacation, and pension.
