Marketing Intern

The Marketing Intern at Epitec will gain hands-on experience supporting sales and recruiting teams through tasks such as social media content creation, event promotion, internal communications, and digital design aligned with the company’s brand. This part-time, onsite internship in Southfield, MI, runs for 9–12 weeks and includes opportunities for professional development, culminating in a final presentation to company leadership. Desired skills include proficiency in Microsoft Office, Canva, social media platforms, strong communication and organizational abilities, and a proactive, team-oriented mindset.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and schedule social media content across platforms.
  • Design internal marketing materials such as incentive flyers.
  • Update company website as delegated. 
  • Support planning and execution of customer/client events and activities.
  • Design digital content that aligns with the company’s brand guidelines.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure consistent messaging and branding.
  • Monitor engagement and performance of social media posts.
  • Help maintain marketing calendars and timelines.
  • Conduct research and document findings to support marketing and sales initiatives.
  • Provide general administrative support to the marketing team, including data entry and organizing materials.
  • Assist in errands on an as-needed basis and as delegated.
  • Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as necessary and delegated, contributing to the overall efficiency of the team. 

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A Junior or Senior currently pursuing a degree in Marketing or a related field. Recent graduates may also be considered.
  • Strong interest in marketing or recruiting. 
  • Eagerness to learn and develop marketing skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with marketing tools and software including Adobe Creative Cloud.
  • Basic knowledge of social media platforms and their use in B2B marketing.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, maintaining confidentiality, remaining open to diverse perspectives, and demonstrating a willingness to embrace new ideas and approaches.
  • Proficient written communication skills, editing work for spelling and grammar, ability to facilitate clear and precise communication.
