Entry Level iOS & Android Developer

Overview:

Join the Playbook team as an iOS & Android Developer with React Native expertise and help us craft the best user experience for our sports and academic communities. This role requires you to take ownership of the development of our core iOS and Android applications, including the integration of third-party tools for marketing, operations, and product teams. You will work closely with our product, design, and marketing teams to develop technical solutions that scale our business as we grow.

Responsibilities:

  • Help build our iOS & Android Apps from day one
  • Collaborate with the development team on new features
  • Utilize a Github-based rapid deployment environment
  • Work across design and engineering to perfect the product experience
  • Own projects from design to implementation and deployment

Skills:

  • Mastery of React Native
  • Experience working with Rest APIs
  • Bonus if you have experience with Python
  • Experience working with growth and product teams to meet business needs
  • Strong engineering skills and solid CS fundamentals
  • Good understanding of database schemas and queries
  • Demonstrated instincts for building delightful user experiences while balancing iteration speed with quality
  • Strong business instincts and fundamentals
