
Client Relations Associate
Position Summary: The Client Relations Associate supports Client Relations, Marketing and Business
Development activities. Working with the Manager of Client Relations and Marketing, the Managing Director of
Marketing, the Chief Investment Officer and members of the investment team, the Associate has an important
role in effective and accurate communications to multiple stakeholders.
Specific duties:
1. Client Reporting Activities
Monthly and quarterly client reporting
Monthly performance database maintenance
Monthly performance reconciliation
Completion of Due Diligence Questionnaires
2. Investment Strategy Composite Maintenance
Quarterly update of the firm’s investment strategy composites
Coordination of annual GIPS compliance verification
3. Marketing Activities & Business Development
Quarterly update of firm and strategy data into 3rd party databases
Conducting research to compare our strategies with the respective universe.
Creation and maintenance of firm and strategy fact sheets and pitchbooks
Creation of prospect-specific presentations ahead of scheduled meetings
Writing responses to RFPs and DDQ requests
CRM updates and maintenance
4. Ad hoc duties as assigned (including other presentations, other client requests, research, marketing material
updates, social media updates, other marketing support)
Skills & Knowledge:
1. College graduate
2. Robust computer skills, especially MS Excel and PowerPoint
3. Basic knowledge of equity and fixed income securities
4. Knowledge or experience with financial modelling.
5. Excellent oral and written communication skills
6. Ability to multi-task and prioritize independently
7. Solid team orientation
8. Strong personal work habits (e.g. conscientious, detail-oriented); self-starter
9. Eager to learn
10. Excellent integrity and character
11. Strong attention to detail
In addition to base salary and benefits, employees are eligible for a discretionary annual bonus.
