Associate Veterinarian (Full-Time or Part-Time)

Bay Valley Animal Hospital is seeking a compassionate, growth-minded veterinarian to join our collaborative and dedicated team. We are a privately owned, multi-doctor small animal hospital that prioritizes high-quality medicine, exceptional client communication, and a supportive workplace culture.

We’re looking for a part-time or full-time Veterinarian who is not only clinically skilled but also eager to learn and grow alongside our team. Whether you’re an experienced clinician or a new graduate, our leadership and medical teams are committed to mentoring, continuing education, and helping you develop your professional goals.

What We’re Looking For:

  • A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent degree from an accredited university
  • A valid license to practice in Michigan (or eligibility for licensure)
  • Strong communication skills and a commitment to client education
  • A positive, team-oriented attitude and a willingness to contribute to a collaborative environment
  • Interest in ongoing learning and professional development

Skills We Value:

  • Ability to perform routine surgical procedures (spays, neuters, mass removals)
  • General dentistry and dental radiography
  • Internal medicine diagnostics and treatment planning
  • Basic ultrasound imaging and interpretation
  • Emergency and critical care stabilization
  • Fear Free or low-stress handling techniques
  • Preventative and wellness care
  • Client communication and case follow-ups
  • Digital radiography and laboratory interpretation
