Student Assistants working at the Service Desk will:

· Provide exceptional customer service to all patrons.

· Perform check-out and check-in of library materials.

· Provide basic level research assistance and printing/copying assistance.

· Shelve, shelf read, and shift library items.

· Clean, dust, and maintain library furniture and equipment.

· Assist with library projects.

 

All University of Akron student employees must meet the designated minimum standards as stated on the Student Employment Eligibility Chart. UA student employees must be 18 years or older at the time of their start date. Any approved remote work conducted by student employees MUST be performed within the state of Ohio.
