Job Summary: The College and Career Counselor Intern will play a crucial role in supporting daily operations and assisting in the execution of counseling initiatives. This internship provides hands-on experience in nonprofit counseling and project management, involving various tasks related to student guidance, college preparation, and career planning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in counseling and advising students on college and career pathways
- Lead college/career counseling workshops for high school students
- Aid in drafting and proofreading counseling materials
- Contribute to the creation and maintenance of resources on our platforms
- Participate in team meetings and collaborate in brainstorming sessions
- Undertake additional duties as assigned or preferred
Requirements:
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program in a relevant field
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Eagerness to develop new skills and expand professional expertise
- Detail-oriented and organized
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite
- Experience in counseling or student advising is preferred

Commitment: Approximately 5-7 hours per week, with flexible work hours
