
Music Social Media Marketing Intern
Second Hand News is a top-selling Fleetwood Mac tribute band based in Chicago, looking for a creative social media intern to help shape our digital voice and grow our presence across IG, TikTok, FB, and YouTube.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain a weekly content calendar
- Create and publish 3–5 posts/week (Reels, tour clips, fan moments)
- Edit short-form video from live show footage
- Track basic analytics
- Optional: Attend 1–2 Chicago shows w/ media pass access
- Collaborate with the band on tone, trends, and creative direction
Requirements:
- Familiar with FB, IG, TikTok, YouTube Shorts
- Content creation experience (class, personal, or portfolio)
- Strong visual sense & storytelling instinct
- Interest in music, live performance, or music marketing (Fleetwood Mac fans a plus!)
- Self-motivated and reliable
- Based in or near Chicago (remote OK w/ occasional in-person)
