
Geotechnical Engineer in Training (Civil Engineering Deg Reqd)

Job Type: Full Time
Salary Offered: $25.00 an hour$65k-$95k/year
Schedule: Monday to Friday 8–10-hour shifts
Job Description:
- Coordinate field explorations
- Perform field logging of soil samples
- Conduct engineering calculations & support design work
- Prepare proposals, technical reports and documentation
- Assist with project execution and provide client support
- This position will work under the supervision of a Licensed Engineer
Qualifications:
- Required: B.S. in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering and Engineer in Training (EIT) certification
- Professional Engineering license is a plus and will be compensated accordingly, but not required
- Basic working knowledge of construction plans and specifications
- Proficient with AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel and Word; ability to learn industry-specific software
- Exhibit strong commitment to work and the ability to contribute positively in a team setting
- You can lift 40 to 50 pounds.
