Sales and Marketing Intern
Role Description
We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented Sales and Marketing Intern to join our real estate development and construction team in Dallas, TX. This full-time, on-site role involves supporting key sales and marketing functions across residential and commercial real estate projects.
You will assist in lead generation, client outreach, marketing campaigns, and business development. A critical component of this role will be conducting market research to identify new development opportunities, connecting with landowners, developers, and brokers, and assisting in sourcing potential land lots for acquisition.
This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in real estate sales, marketing strategy, and deal sourcing within the construction and development industry.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct market research to identify new land acquisition opportunities
Research zoning, comps, demographics, and local trends for targeted submarkets
Build and maintain a database of local developers, brokers, and landowners
Support outreach efforts to source potential lots and development sites
Assist the sales team with customer service, follow-ups, and showings
Help create marketing materials, listing brochures, signage, and digital content
Participate in real estate sales training and assist with contract pipeline tracking
Maintain and update CRM databases with leads, contacts, and project statuses
Collaborate with the construction team for updates on product specs and timelines
Support digital marketing and social media efforts for current and upcoming projects
Qualifications
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Strong research skills with the ability to gather, analyze, and synthesize real estate market data
Interest or experience in land development, acquisitions, or construction
Basic understanding of real estate terminology (e.g., zoning, comps, FAR, entitlement, LOI)
Currently pursuing a degree in Real Estate, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with CRMs preferred
Self-starter with a positive attitude, eager to learn and contribute in a team-oriented environment
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize in a dynamic setting
