This is not a casino or gambling role. You'll host friendly, tech-enhanced poker games in a social setting using our cutting-edge tables and interactive gameplay. As the face of the game, you'll ensure guests have a great time while developing your communication, leadership, and multitasking skills.

In this role, you'll perform all the duties of a poker dealer, including but not limited to:

• Dealing cards (Texas Hold'Em, Omaha, etc.)
• Managing the flow of the game (prompting players' actions, collecting bets, updating
• electronic info, etc.)
• Explaining and upholding tournament play rules
• Maintaining fairness and diplomacy in difficult situations
• Enforcing house rules with professionalism
• Conversing/joking as much or as little as the guests enjoy ("reading the room")

Great people skills are a must — you'll be chatting with players, making them feel welcome, building relationships, and helping to create an upbeat, yet relaxed vibe at the table. If you love working with people, and can multitask while keeping things flowing and enjoyable, this could be a great fit for you.

POKER DEALER JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Provide a welcoming, upbeat, informative environment
• Manage all aspects of tournament poker on tech infused poker tables
• Have manual dexterity to shuffle, pitch and collect cards and bets across poker layout
• Ensure adherence to established house and Tournament Directors Association (TDA)
• rules
• Cross-sell/up-sell other Showdown Social amenities (food, drink, games, events,
• memberships, etc.)
• When not actively dealing, serve as a games ambassador providing information to and
• answering questions from guests at our host stand, registration kiosk and dining tables.

Although poker knowledge and/or dealing skills are optimal, no experience is necessary for the right candidate...we will teach you all you need to know about the exciting, fast-paced game of poker.
