Mobile Growth Association (MGA) is a global community providing mobile marketing professionals with frontline content, education, and events to help grow their app businesses and their careers. Drawing on its roots as a not-for-profit organization dedicated to education, MGA is committed to building the world’s most comprehensive set of resources for an accessible community of mobile experts.
Events prioritize community and content quality more than anything else, attracting a high-caliber audience of mobile marketers, developers and user acquisition managers working in games, commerce, and other app categories, as well as executives representing Adtech, Martech, and data companies. We are looking for a highly organized, creative, and professional Marketing Manager.
As the Marketing Manager, you will work closely with our Communications Team, Social Media Manager, and Executive Team to ensure our brand is represented and promoted properly via any means necessary to attract, engage, and promote our community.
Marketing Manager responsibilities include developing and managing marketing programs in specific channels, supporting business objectives, leading acquisition, fostering customer retention, executing business development, providing sales support, and advancing brand building.
This work will be a critical factor for the smooth operation of MGA and the attainment of its goals, as well as for the long-term growth of the company.
Responsibilities
Able to deftly produce and distribute aesthetically high-quality materials in email marketing and on company web site with a high degree of independence.
Experience working with major marketing automation software platforms to run campaigns and distribute content.
Experience launching multiple new services and products which expand reach to different users and use cases.
Conduct market research and analyze consumer rating reports/ questionnaires
Employ marketing analytics techniques to gather important data (social media, web analytics, rankings etc.)
Update spreadsheets, databases and inventories with statistical, financial and non-financial information
Assist in the organizing of promotional events and traditional or digital campaigns and attend them to facilitate their success
Compose and post online content on the company’s website (Such as making sure the Homepage is updated on a regular basis) and Google Ads, Taboola, and others.
Write marketing literature such as marketing guidelines for Speaker, Sponsors, and Media Partners to augment the company’s presence in the market
Communicate directly with clients and encourage trusting relationships
Skills
Bachelor’s degree in marketing or other related business discipline (preferred)
3-5 years proven experience in Product or Digital Marketing
Strong project management skills – able to develop timelines and focus on execution
Fast learner and detail-oriented with a focus on building value
Good understanding of office management and marketing principles
Strategic thinker who is able to execute tactics.
Demonstrable ability to multi-task and adhere to deadlines
Well-organized with a customer-oriented approach
Good knowledge of market research techniques and databases
Can strike a balance between creativity and analytics
Excellent knowledge of MS Office, marketing computer software and online applications (CRM tools, Online analytics, Google Adwords etc.)
Exquisite communication and people skills
