Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• The Director will be supervised jointly by the Secretaries of CYFD and HCA; and will be tasked to adequately address all the deliverables identified in the Final Settlement Agreement for Kevin S. 
• The Director will serve as the primary contact for all external parties related to the FSA and will direct and coordinate staff from both agencies to ensure the completion of all deliverables.
• The Director will collaborate with staff from both agencies, legal professionals, and external stakeholders to coordinate efforts and share information related to complex litigation.
• The Director will be responsible for leading and coordinating the work related to the FSA in both agencies.
• The Director will be responsible for managing the Data Team, Attorney, Consultants, and identified Kevin S staff from both agencies.
• The Director will facilitate and be responsible for collaboration with government agencies, departments, and officials to interpret and implement solutions to complex legal matters.

Minimum Qualifications:

Applicants should hold a Master’s degree in public administration, public health, public policy, behavioral health, political science, business, finance, economics, or a related field of study or a related field plus three years’ and relevant experience managing teams, complex projects, plus developing and implementing performance improvement plans OR a bachelor’s degree in the required fields and relevant experience managing teams, complex projects, plus developing and implementing performance improvement plans with experience of five or more years. 
A background in child welfare is strongly preferred.
The position is a Governor-appointed exempt position.
