HS 2000 Grader (Academic Year 2025-2026)

The Health Sciences program is hiring graders for the 2025-2026 academic year. Graders are responsible for grading and providing feedback on assignments in all sections of HS2000 Introduction to Health and Health Behaviors. They will also assist in other course related tasks, such as uploading grades and assisting with exams.

Qualified candidates will be able to work independently, have excellent attention to detail, and astute critical thinking skills, particularly in the areas of health behavior and health research.  Qualified candidates will have superior computer and typing skills and have familiarity with Moodle. This is a great position for students thinking of attending graduate school in health sciences or with an interest in health education.  Candidates must have completed HS 2000 at Oakland University with a grade of 3.0 or above and have familiarity with health sciences research. Candidates will be expected to work between 1- 15 hours/week during the fall and winter semesters and attend weekly or biweekly meetings with the HS 2000 course coordinator. Hours will be scheduled Monday through Friday 8am - 8pm based on candidates availability and will include a on-campus work with possibilities for off-campus work.
