Sistah, Reclaim Your Image is a media platform and movement dedicated to re-centering the identity, power, and beauty of Black women through storytelling, spiritual reflection, historical education, and cultural critique. We amplify voices, reclaim narratives, and foster personal and collective healing.

Position Overview:
We’re seeking a passionate and culturally grounded Segment Host and Content Creator to lead written and video content across key segments of our platform. This includes Black Herstory, Biblical Womanhood, Entertainment & Commentary, Wellness & Lifestyle, and Black Injustice. You’ll craft thought-provoking blog posts and captivating YouTube episodes that inform, inspire, and elevate.

Responsibilities:

Research, write, and host blog articles and YouTube video scripts

Present videos with clarity, charisma, and cultural insight

Curate content on topics like Black history, womanhood, biblical wisdom, wellness, injustice, and pop culture

Collaborate with the SRYI team on content planning, messaging, and scheduling

Ensure all content is aligned with the brand’s voice: empowering, spiritual, culturally relevant, and informative

Stay current on historical milestones, trending topics, and socio-political movements

Preferred Qualifications:

Strong writing and storytelling skills with cultural depth

Comfortable on camera and experienced in content creation (YouTube, blogs, podcasts, etc.)

Passionate about Black history, spirituality, and the empowerment of Black women

Knowledge of biblical narratives, particularly Old Testament perspectives, is a plus

Organized, self-motivated, and deadline-driven

Bonus Skills:

Video editing or social media content creation

SEO/blog formatting experience

Familiarity with Canva or similar tools
