About Akros
Akros Advisory is a strategy consultancy that helps mission-driven organizations grow their payer book of business. Our clients span digital health startups, accelerators, non-profits, and consultancies seeking to navigate Medicaid, Medicare, and commercial payers. We combine market research, health policy insights, and stakeholder strategy to help our clients unlock new growth.
Our Culture
We’re a remote-first, detail-obsessed team of creative strategists and healthcare nerds. We thrive in ambiguity, ask tough questions, and value crisp execution as much as bold ideas. We embrace cross-discipline thinkers who take pride in their work and are comfortable working independently. If you’re energized by excellence, we’d love to meet you.
About the Role
We’re hiring a meticulously organized, visually detail-oriented, and client-attuned Content Creator / Marketing Coordinator to produce and manage content across multiple brands and workstreams.
This role is ideal for someone who:
- Can quickly toggle between tone, brand voice, and strategy across distinct clients
- Thrives on consistency, grammar precision, and visual alignment
- Is both creative and systems-oriented, with the ability to spot errors others miss
- Enjoys applying research and strategy to create content that performs
You’ll work closely with Akros’ Brand Strategist and leadership to plan, create, and refine content that builds trust and visibility. Your work will primarily be for LinkedIn, with some email and blog copy as needed.
This is a contractor role with an eye toward long-term partnership. We value reliability, quality, and initiative, and are eager to grow with someone who delivers consistently strong work.
Key Responsibilities
- Design brand-aligned, visually precise social media graphics (primarily in Canva)
- Write and edit content tailored to multiple client brands (LinkedIn, email, website, blog)
- Collaborate on marketing strategies, then turn plans into polished assets
- Adapt copy and tone for different audiences (e.g. health plans, startup founders, non-profit leaders)
- Conduct light research on industry trends and competitor messaging
- Maintain editorial quality and brand consistency across platforms
- Incorporate feedback without sacrificing attention to nuance
- Track deadlines, assets, and content revisions across concurrent projects
What We’re Looking For
- You sweat the small stuff. Typos, inconsistent fonts, or unclear headlines bother you.
- You think in layers. When given a prompt, you ask about audience, goal, voice, and call-to-action.
- You can juggle. You’ll manage work across multiple brands and clients-sometimes on tight timelines.
-
You’re not afraid of the blank page. But you also know how to build from existing templates and examples.
Preferred Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience creating high-quality visual and written content
- Expertise with Canva or similar tools
- Excellent grammar, editing, and proofreading skills
- Strong project management and communication habits
- Comfortable with asynchronous collaboration and tight turnarounds
- Familiarity with LinkedIn as a B2B platform (algorithm, tone, trends)
- Bonus: Background in healthcare, policy, tech, or impact sectors
What You’ll Gain
- Flexible remote work and asynchronous collaboration style
- Mentorship, feedback, and hands-on experience across industries
- Portfolio-building opportunities with high-quality, strategic content
- Room to grow into a larger or more specialized role over time
How to Apply
Please submit the following:
- Resume or LinkedIn profile
- 2–3 work samples (preferably showcasing writing, social media, or design)
- A short paragraph answering: "What’s one detail you never overlook when creating content?"
We value precision. Applications without samples or responses to the prompt will not be reviewed.
