Educational Behavior Analyst, Coordinator II, Special Education

Job Summary

Under the direction of the Autism Consultant, the BCBA will be assigned a caseload including, but not limited to students with ASD, moderate to severe disabilities, Emotional Disturbances (ED) and other qualifying conditions. As the BCBA for the classroom, you will assist the teacher in developing appropriate IEP goals, designing data collection systems, analyzing the data, conducting FBAs or FAAs as needed and writing appropriate behavior plans. You will participate in IEP team meetings and provide ongoing coaching to teacher and staff on teaching strategies based upon Applied Behavior Analysis. Program managers also conduct workshops on ABA or related topics for parents or other community members.

Length of Work Year

208 work days, Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Requirements / Qualifications

Possess a Master’s Degree in psychology, education, social work, or related field. Previous experience in program evaluation and data collection. Previous work experience in designing educational programs for students with autism, emotional disturbance, or qualifying conditions. Possession of current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certificate.
