News Producer – KTBS 3 & KPXJ 21

Are you a creative storyteller with a knack for producing fast paced, engaging newscasts? KTBS 3 and KPXJ 21 are seeking a dynamic, self-starting News Producer to join our team. If you thrive in a collaborative newsroom and can bring sharp editorial judgment to every broadcast, we want to hear from you.

🔹 Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee the preparation of daily newscasts
  • Research, write, and produce compelling stories for air
  • Manage story placement, teases, timing, graphics, and overall production flow
  • Coordinate graphic creation and satellite feeds from various sources
  • Work closely with the control room during live productions
  • Knowledge of current events

🔹 Qualifications

  • Strong writing and editing skills
  • Solid understanding of social media and online publishing
  • Clear and concise communicator under tight deadlines
  • Strong organizational skills and news judgment
  • Flexibility to work weekends and holidays
  • Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening
