Job Description:
Our Client Service Associate is an integral part of our Client Service Team. Working alongside our Client Service Managers, they will assist with the day-to-day processing of client requests as well as aid our Financial Advisors in preparation for prospect meetings and client reviews. Associates will have the opportunity to gain experience with brokerage accounts, annuities, life insurance, and much more.
This position is open for our Fall Internship Term, running from Late August to early December. The expectation is to work a minimum of 10 hours per week.
Typical Internship Responsibilities Include:
- Developing an understanding of the general account structures, affiliate hierarchies, and company operations
- Processing of forms for clients including account openings & updates, transfers, agent changes, etc.
- Following up on processed account updates/ changes, proactively providing updates to the team
- Tracking and analyzing various reports
- Handling incoming calls and making outbound calls to clients and companies

- Currently pursuing a Management, Supply Chain, Finance, or Business degree
- Desire to gain hands on experience in the financial industry
- Excellent time management & organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
- Ability to follow written directions & complete tasks
- Willingness to learn & be receptive to guidance and direction

Compensation starts at $15.00 per hour with potential for bonus opportunities.
