Are you a motivated, analytical, and curious problem-solver looking to dive into the world of business development, partnerships, and regional strategy? Biocom California is looking for an LA Regional Intern to support the Executive Director and team in our Los Angeles office for a five-month adventure!

With the aim of promoting growth and involvement in the life science space in the LA area, this multifunctional internship provides the chance to obtain practical experience in business development, strategy, and regional engagement with stakeholders. You'll discover how a leading life science culture uses networking, communications, and events to increase its influence.

What You’ll Be doing

Data Collection & Evaluation- Evaluating internal and external data and resources on key member goals, prospect segments, and regional activity to support strategic planning.

Program Support- Assist in planning, tracking, and evaluating regional programs and partnerships. 

Team Support- Partnering with regional marketing to understand efforts to produce marketing campaigns.

Campaigns and Events- Support planning and logistics for industry events, expos, and fellowship program sessions, and assist in producing materials for regional events

What we are looking for:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, Management, or a related field (Priority will be given to currently enrolled students).
• Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent
• A detail-oriented, highly organized multitasker who thrives in a dynamic environment.
• A friendly, professional communicator who enjoys working with people from all backgrounds.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with care and confidentiality.
• Tech-savvy! Proficiency in MS Office Suite is a plus

Location: Los Angeles, CA (Hybrid) (Located in Sherman Oaks)
Hours: Part-Time 24 hours/week (Fixed Mondays, other two days flexible)

Duration: August through December

Pay: $20/hour
