ABOUT: Miller Venture LLC opperates Birmingham Rage Room & Opelika Rage Room. MV is seeking a well rounded marketing minded candidate to help expand our marketing and online presence through our companies & others under our umbrella. The primary focus of the job now will be managing the Rage Rooms marketing and basic admin work + build from scratch a marketing plan for an AV company that has been in business since the 1980s that is looking to grow their footprint as well.

Job Responsibilities


 

  • Content growth, creation, & planning
  • Help manage & grow all business social media accounts (Instagram, Twitter/X, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, Threads, LinkedIn etc)
  • Expand social media footprint into new platforms
  • Engage with customers on platforms
  • Create new social media content on site
  • Daily Management of all platforms (a broad creative mind for different content ideas that stay topical and fresh with current trends)
  • Help run effective advertisement campaigns
  • Basic web design skills (square space familiarity ideally)
  • Network and collaborate with other creators & businesses
  • Have writing and script building skills when creating content and post copy
  • Oversee all social media messages & email as well as assist with taking company calls
  • Be prolific with SEO analytics & data
  • Show and be able to present growth and numbers for all engagement & traffic
  • Work with camera/filming equipment
  • Help with other office related job responsibilities during any marketing work down time
  • Work will be located mostly in the Birmingham area. There may be some days for content creation that must be done on site


 


 

Ideal Qualifications


 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Comm. and/or Marketing, Digital Media, or related studies
  • 2+ years of experience in professional marketing/social media work (5+ years w/o degree)
  • A track record / portfolio of proven previous success
  • Photography / videography experience is a huge plus
  • Editing/Design (Canva, Adobe, etc)
  • Advance use of Social Media platform tools
  • Organized, self motivated, multitasker
  • Work will be standard work hours with some evenings possible
  • Be able to wear multiple hats and thrive in an entrepreneurial environment
  • Have worked and/or a passion working with a small locally owned businesses

We have a few businesses we are looking for help to grow, there are also expansions plans for those and new ventures that are in the works of getting started. We are hoping that through expanding our team with qualified growth minded and motivated professionals the growth of the businesses will follow!
