About the Role

River Road Rescue Squad is organizing a one-day community awareness campaign to help recruit volunteers and raise donations. We're hiring dependable and energetic individuals to join our street team and distribute flyers door-to-door across designated residential neighborhoods.

Key Responsibilities

Distribute door hangers across assigned areas (no mailboxes)

Track each flyer drop using the SimpleCrew mobile app (GPS + photo proof required)

Respect "No Soliciting" signs and adhere to all campaign instructions

Compensation

Estimated pay: $25–$30 per hour, depending on walking speed and efficiency

Payment sent via Venmo, after drop data is verified

Minimum 200 flyers required to qualify for payment

Requirements

Smartphone (with enough charge to use tracking app throughout the day)

Comfortable walking shoes and appropriate attire for the weather

Ability to follow instructions and work independently

Positive attitude and good time management

Contract Details

1099 Independent Contractor role

Participants will sign a short agreement acknowledging they’re working under River Road Rescue Squad

Campaign is coordinated in partnership with StreetFeet, a grassroots outreach support team
