Akron Community Internship Program: Sip.Savor.Soul Photography and Videography Content Intern

About Sip.Savor.Soul:
Sip.Savor.Soul is a thriving and innovative food business dedicated to reshaping the approach to healthy eating. Through creative cooking classes and workshops, we empower families, children, and adults to make nutritious food choices, equipping them with the skills to recreate wholesome recipes at home.

Position Overview:


SipSavorSoul is seeking a proactive and creative student with experience in engaging audiences through visually compelling photography and videography. In this role, you will capture imagery that showcases SipSavorSoul’s classes, events, nutrition education, and health/ wellness coaching. This internship is as much about storytelling as it is about photography and editing.

Responsibilities:

  • Capture and showcase SipSavorSoul’s brand and offerings through well-produced videos and photos.
  • Develop written content for the monthly newsletter and website based on photos and videos taken.
  • Be available on some Wednesdays and Saturdays during class times (can be any time from 11am-2:30pm and 4-5pm).
  • Reliably travel to local hospitals, community centers, and non-profits for cooking classes.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience in creating content for social media, including examples of work on TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
  • Proficiency in video production and editing, with the ability to work independently on Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, and/or mobile editing apps (experience with social media management tools is a plus).
  • Strong understanding of social media best practices, engagement techniques, and platform-specific content needs.
  • A portfolio of photography examples will be required at the time of the interview.
