Church Property Management Intern - Fall 2025

The Property Management Intern will have the opportunity to work with a professional team devoted to maintaining, updating, and beautifying the three campuses of Real Life Christian Church and our Academy. Optimizing the experience of all visitors to our churches and school is of utmost importance to the Facilities Team and thus the scope of this internship has the potential to be quite broad- everything from traffic flow in the parking lots to replacing a baby changing station in a restroom. This experience will be tailored to your individual needs to help you identify and develop the gifts God has given you to build His Kingdom.

Basic Requirements:

Profess Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior- This is an absolute requirement for all interns.

A heart to serve the local church.
Proficient working in a high-paced, demand-driven environment where you will learn to triage and prioritize issues while also planning and implementing longer range initiatives
The optimal candidate would have a certificate in a trade or 2 years of college.
US driver’s license and no traffic incidents which would limit your ability to drive our vehicles
Basic administrative skills - organization, project management, and time management
Passion for learning and developing new skills
Team player who is eager to learn all aspects of facilities management

Responsibilities:

Support Facilities team by problem solving and performing facilities tasks.
Travel in Real Life vehicles amongst our 3 Central Florida campuses.
Attend meetings with Facilities Pastor and help strategize, plan, and execute as needed.

General info:

Expect to be on the Real Life campus (1501 Steves Road, Clermont, FL 34711) at least 3 days per week and work 15-20 hours/week as arranged with your mentor.

Typical hours for most positions would be Sunday 8am-1pm plus 10-15 additional hours Monday-Thursday 8am-5pm. Must be flexible to hours outside of these hours with notice.

The internship is 12 weeks long September 7, 2025, until December 5, 2025. The church offices are closed the week of Thanksgiving, although staff is expected to be on campus Sunday, November 23rd and Sunday, November 30th.

Pay: $150.00 per week
