Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dynamic STEM Instructor to design and deliver engaging lessons in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math to students in [K–12 / middle school / high school / after-school programs]. The instructor will foster curiosity, critical thinking, and creativity through hands-on projects, labs, and problem-solving activities.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and deliver interactive STEM lessons and activities aligned with age and grade level.
Teach concepts in one or more areas: robotics, coding, physics, engineering design, math enrichment, or life sciences.
Adapt instruction to meet diverse learning styles and skill levels.
Supervise and mentor students during individual and group projects.
Integrate technology tools, digital platforms, and real-world challenges.
Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment.
Monitor student progress and provide feedback to students and parents (if applicable).
Collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary units or events (e.g., STEM fairs).
Participate in training, curriculum development, and ongoing professional learning.
Qualifications
Required:
Working towards a Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field (e.g., Biology, Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Math, or Education with STEM focus)
Experience teaching or tutoring students in STEM subjects
Strong communication and classroom management skills
Passion for hands-on, inquiry-based learning
Preferred:
Familiarity with platforms like Scratch, Arduino, Python, LEGO Robotics, or 3D printing
Experience in project-based or experiential learning
Desired Traits

Patience and enthusiasm for mentoring young learners
Willingness to learn new tools and adapt to emerging STEM trends
Compensation: $15-$25/hr based on experience
