Small Animal or Equine/Small Animal associate
$100,000 base salary for 4 days per week or $120,000 for 5 days a week. 3 weeks PTO. Pro Sal option. These numbers may be adjusted based on experience. We are either looking for an Equine/Small Animal associate at our Smith Equine Location or a Small Animal associate at our new Central Pet Care small animal exclusive location.
We do not have weekend office hours. Small animal emergencies are referred after hours at both locations. Equine emergencies would be shared between owner and new Equine associate at Smith Equine location. After hours compensation would be provided.
Smith Equine and Veterinary Services/Central Pet Care in Carthage, Missouri. We will be a 2 location practice as of July 25th.
Smith Equine is a 2 doctor Equine and Small Animal practice located about 10 miles from Joplin, 45 minutes from Springfield and an hour and half from Branson. Our clinic was built in November of 2021. 2 small animal exam rooms, 2 equine exam areas. We see approximately 50% equine, 50% small animal. We have recently removed bovine work from our practice. Equipped with digital portable radiograph, Mindray ultrasound, reproscan ultrasound, digatherm thermography, Equinosis Lameness locator, Companion Therapy Laser, PulseVet Shockwave, power float, extraction tools, Idexx CBC, Chem, UA, SAA, lactate, Vetpro BM3 Anesthesia monitoring for small animal, cautery. Air conditioned/heated equine exam area.
Central Pet Care is currently a 1 doctor small animal practice with 3 exam rooms, 20 large dog runs, and 40 other cage spaces for housing dogs and cats. Equipped with digital X-ray, cbc, chem, urinalysis, companion laser therapy, surgical laser, ultrasound, anesthesia monitoring, etc.
