Business Development Support Analyst
The Business Development Support (BDS) Team is responsible for managing the coordination and submission of Request for Proposals (RFPs), Requests for Information (RFIs), and Due Diligence Questionnaires (DDQs) for PIMCO clients and prospects globally. As a BDS Analyst, you will play an important role in the firm’s client servicing and business development initiatives. The team collaborates with various departments across the organization to ensure that all responses are compelling, accurate, and timely. You will work closely with subject matter experts to write and edit both standard and customized content, while also managing the integrity and quality of the content within the team’s database. Responsibilities
The key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Manage the coordination and submission of RFPs, RFIs, and DDQs for PIMCO clients and prospects globally.
Partner with client management and departments across the organization to provide compelling, accurate and timely responses covering firm-level and strategy-specific topics.
Work with subject matter experts including product strategists, legal, compliance, human resources, operations, technology, and others to write and edit standard or customized responses.
Maintain the integrity and quality of content in the team’s database by updating existing and creating new responses on a regular and ad hoc basis.
Field ad hoc questions to support the client management team in responding to client and prospect inquiries.
Develop a deep understanding of PIMCO’s investment strategies as well as the many facets of firm-level topics.
Position Requirements
Must have a Bachelor’s Degree with a preferred major in economics, finance, accounting, or business.
Minimum 3.2 overall GPA.
Open to undergraduate applicants who have graduated between May 2023 and June 2025 only.
Completion of Series 7 and 63 is required within the first six (6) months of employment.
Background and / or interest in investment management.
Strong written and verbal communication skills to collaborate effectively with all levels of personnel across the organization.
Effective organizational and project management skills with the capacity to prioritize multiple projects and deadlines.
Excellent attention to detail to ensure the accuracy of qualitative and quantitative content.
Self-starter who can succeed in a demanding and dynamic environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel (VBA or programming experience viewed favorably).
