Description
We are looking for a responsible and enthusiastic Site Supervisor to help run our youth soccer and flag football leagues on Saturdays. This role is ideal for students interested in kinesiology, education, outdoor recreation, or sports management, and provides hands-on experience in event coordination and youth leadership.
Responsibilities
Set up and take down fields and equipment
Greet and support volunteer coaches; assist with day-of logistics
Communicate with parents and answer basic questions
Ensure league safety, sportsmanship, and rule adherence
Step in as a substitute coach or assistant when needed
Monitor field conditions and assist with any onsite incidents
Coordinate with the League Director throughout the day
Qualifications
Enthusiastic about working with children and families
Previous experience playing soccer or flag football desired
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Dependable, punctual, and able to multitask in fast-paced settings
Comfortable being outdoors for extended periods
CPR/First Aid certification preferred
Experience in youth programming, coaching, or officiating a plus

This position qualifies for internship credit (e.g., KIN 410 or TRAL 410 at OSU-Cascades). Students will gain:
