Community Engagement & Program Support Associate

Position Title: Community Engagement & Program Support Associate
Reports To: Executive Director
Status: Part-Time (12 hours/week; 3 days per week)
Pay Range: $15.50/hr
Location: Cleveland, OH (on-site and in the community)

Position Summary:

Motivated and Empowered Inc. is seeking a passionate and flexible Community Engagement & Program Support Associate to serve as a vital link between the organization, the families we support, and the broader community. This part-time role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, can represent our mission at community events, and is committed to creating real impact through hands-on support and outreach.

Key Responsibilities:

Attend community events and meetings as a representative of Motivated and Empowered Inc.

Build and maintain strong relationships with families, partners, and stakeholders.

Provide on-site support during programs, events, and workshops.

Help distribute materials, set up spaces, and assist with logistics at events.

Assist with intake of families for services and follow-up support.

Maintain accurate records and support basic reporting needs.

Serve as an extra set of hands wherever needed to ensure our mission is carried out.

Preferred Qualifications:

Minimum high school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Services, Social Work, Education, or related field preferred.

At least 1 year of experience in community outreach, social services, education, or youth/family programming.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to engage with diverse populations.

Must be highly dependable, flexible, and solution-oriented.

Ability to attend evening or weekend events when needed.

Must have reliable transportation.

Passion for Motivated and Empowered Inc.’s mission to uplift youth and families facing adversity.

Bonus Skills (Preferred, Not Required):

Bilingual (Spanish or another language)

Familiarity with local Cleveland neighborhoods and community organizations

Experience working with at-risk youth or underserved populations

Basic tech/computer skills (Google Workspace, email, Zoom, etc.)
