North Shore High School in Cleveland is searching for a dedicated Intervention Specialist to join our dynamic team. What You'll Do:

• Transform Lives:
  • Assess and identify students’ academic and emotional needs.
  • Craft personalized learning plans to help each student thrive.
• Engage Minds:
  • Deliver innovative, engaging instruction in small groups and one-on-one settings.
  • Utilize creative strategies to reignite students' love for learning.
• Support Growth:
  • Implement and manage positive behavioral interventions.
  • Mentor and counsel students, fostering resilience and positive self-image.
• Track Success:
  • Monitor student progress and adjust strategies as needed.
  • Keep parents and guardians in the loop with regular updates.
• Collaborate:
  • Work closely with an amazing team of teachers, administrators, and support staff.
  • Connect students with community resources and additional support.

What We're Looking For:

• Educational Background:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or related field (Master’s preferred).
• Certified Pro:
  • Valid Ohio teaching license with Intervention Specialist endorsement.
• Experienced Mentor:
  • Experience working with at-risk youth or in dropout recovery (preferred).
  • Skilled in creating and implementing IEPs and intervention plans.
• Dynamic Skills:
  • Excellent communicator and relationship builder.
  • Innovative, adaptable, and tech-savvy.
