Home to a dynamic roster of comedians and personalities, including Tom Segura, Christina Pazsitsky, Ari Shaffir, Bert Kreischer, and more, YMH Studios offers a variety of engaging podcasts that cover everything from Internet weirdness and pop culture cringe to relationships and insightful social commentary. With a focus on humor and authenticity, YMH Studios fosters a loyal and engaged community where listeners can connect and share a laugh. Our facility is currently home to seven podcasts and we are actively developing new shows with the top comedic talent in the industry. We are seeking a Social Media Intern for the 2025 Summer term. Interns must be local to Austin, TX.

Our social media interns will work with our Director of Short Form Content to edit podcasts into short-form content for all social platforms, assist the Post-Production department with subtitling clips, write copy for posts, and will help schedule content across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Twitter, and Youtube. But the best part of an internship at YMH is the office environment. We work with some of the best comedians in the business and we like to laugh. Our shows can get vile or gross or even downright disgusting sometimes and that’s part of the fun. We like to bring in people with a thick skin and a good sense of humor. This internship will begin at the start of the Summer 2025 semester at our Austin office.

RESPONSIBILITIES: We are looking for interns with a passion for podcasts and a love of comedy. Knowledge of the YMH world is a plus. Must be available to work a minimum of 10 hours a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Social Media Intern:

• Highly organized
• Attention to detail (This is a big one!!!)
• Strong creative writing skills
• Ability to work in Adobe Suite (Adobe Premiere will be your best friend)
• Up to date on social media trends and differences in platforms
• Ability to identify comedic moments or moments that can go viral
• Knowledge of different social media platforms

Duties include:

• Subtitling social media clips in Adobe Premiere
• Editing short BTS and bonus content for social media
• Writing captions for social media posts in the YMH brand voice
• Scheduling social media posts in Sprout Social, Meta, and TikTok
• Planning and keeping social media calendar up to date
• Community management on all social platforms
• Assisting the Director of Short Form Content with other content and tasks
