Principal Full Stack Software Developer

An industry-leading healthtech organization is building a next-generation clinical platform powered by generative AI and cloud-native technologies. They’re looking for a Senior/Principal Full Stack Software Developer with a passion for data platform engineering, NLP, and scalable backend systems to join a mission-driven team transforming global healthcare outcomes.

This is a fully remote position open across the U.S.

Role:
🌐 Lead architecture and development of a secure, scalable AI-driven data platform
🧠 Collaborate with AI researchers, product teams, and clinicians to bring solutions to life
💾 Build backend infrastructure for real-time data ingestion, processing, and storage
📊 Design databases to support complex healthcare data and NLP features
🛠 Integrate conversational and semantic search tools into the platform
🔐 Ensure data privacy, compliance, and security at every level
👥 Mentor junior engineers and promote engineering best practices
🚀 Stay ahead of the curve in cloud-native, AI/ML, and healthcare technologies

Requirements:
🎓 Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science or a related field
💻 4+ years of full stack software development experience
🧑‍💻 Advanced skills in Java, Python, or JavaScript
☁️ Strong experience with cloud platforms (OCI, AWS, Azure, or GCP)
🧩 Knowledge of distributed systems, microservices, and REST APIs
📚 Expertise in data modeling, metadata, and access control
🔍 Familiarity with search tools (e.g., Opensearch, Pinecone) and Oracle DB
🔁 Hands-on with Kafka, Flink, RabbitMQ, or similar ETL/data pipeline tools
🐳 Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and modern DevOps environments
🗣 Excellent communication skills to engage both technical and non-technical teams
🌱 A passion for mentoring and innovation in healthcare
