Brand Ambassador
The Columbus Wizards Brand Ambassador is a key public-facing representative of our organization, responsible for helping grow awareness, strengthen community connections, and elevate the team’s presence throughout Central Ohio. Whether at a community event, school, sponsor activation, or game day, Brand Ambassadors represent the spirit, professionalism, and mission of the Wizards at every turn. This is a part-time, seasonal role ideal for individuals passionate about basketball, community engagement, and brand storytelling. As a Brand Ambassador, you will play a critical role in expanding the Wizards’ footprint both on and off the court.
Responsibilities
- Represent the Columbus Wizards brand at events, games, community initiatives, and sponsor activations
- Build meaningful connections with fans, families, local business owners, and partners
- Assist in executing grassroots marketing efforts by distributing promotional materials and sharing information about upcoming games, events, and ticket offers
- Work alongside the Sales and Marketing team to support promotions, giveaways, and fan engagement opportunities
- Capture fan interactions and moments to contribute content to social media and marketing campaigns
- Maintain a polished, professional appearance and demeanor while wearing Wizards-branded apparel
- Support the setup and breakdown of marketing activations, merchandise tables, or booths
- Attend media appearances or interviews when requested as a public representative of the organization
Qualifications and Skills
- Strong interpersonal and public speaking skills
- Passionate about sports, community outreach, and fan engagement
- Comfortable initiating conversations and making memorable first impressions
- Well-organized and able to adapt to various event environments and audiences
- Reliable transportation and availability for evenings, weekends, and select weekdays
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced settings
- Previous brand ambassador, promotional, or customer service experience preferred
