Marketing Manager, MTEC SmartZone
MTEC SmartZone is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Marketing Manager to lead our marketing initiatives and drive brand awareness within the technology and innovation ecosystem. This role will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies that support our mission of fostering entrepreneurship, innovation, and economic development in the region.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Marketing Leadership
- Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with organizational goals and growth objectives
- Collaborate with the leadership team to align marketing initiatives with business goals
- Maintain existing brands: www.Return-North.com, www.AMMPaccelerator.com
Brand Management & Communications
- Maintain and enhance MTEC SmartZone's brand identity and messaging across all channels
- Oversee creation of marketing materials, including brochures, presentations, website content, and promotional items
- Ensure consistent brand voice and visual identity across all marketing touchpoints
Digital Marketing & Content Strategy
- Develop and execute digital marketing campaigns across multiple platforms (social media, email, web, etc.)
- Manage website content, SEO optimization, and user experience improvements
- Create compelling content that showcases member companies, success stories, and innovation initiatives
- Oversee social media strategy and daily management of organizational social channels
Event Marketing & Community Engagement
- Plan and execute marketing strategies for events, including networking events, workshops, and conferences
- Develop and maintain relationships with local organizations, universities, and industry associations
Analytics & Performance Measurement
- Track and analyze marketing performance metrics, ROI, and campaign effectiveness
- Prepare regular reports on marketing activities and outcomes for the leadership team
- Use data-driven insights to optimize marketing strategies and resource allocation
Required Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field preferred
- 3-5 years of marketing experience, preferably in technology, economic development, or B2B environments
- Proven track record of successful marketing campaign development and execution
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms (Google Analytics, social media management tools, email marketing platforms)
- Experience with content management systems and web development
- Knowledge of graphic design software (Canva and/or Adobe Creative Suite preferred)
- Strong data analysis and reporting capabilities

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with event planning and management
- Background in grant writing or fundraising communications
