Education/Programming Intern

Reports To: Sarah Klein - Assistant Director
Location: Onsite - Fond du Lac, WI
Hours: Part Time & Full Time Available
Duration: To Be Discussed - Flexible

 

We EmpowHER is seeking an enthusiastic and community-driven Education/Programming Intern to assist with the development and delivery of both youth and adult programs. This hands-on internship offers valuable experience in educational programming, community engagement, and event coordination—while supporting our mission to empower women and create lasting community impact.

Key Responsibilities:

Program Support:

Assist with planning, organizing, and facilitating youth and adult educational programs and workshops.

Help prepare educational materials, resources, and supplies for program sessions.

Support outreach efforts to engage participants, community partners, and stakeholders.

Participant Engagement:

Assist in welcoming and supporting program participants to ensure a positive, inclusive experience.

Help monitor attendance and participation during sessions.

Provide hands-on support during activities, helping maintain a safe and encouraging environment.

Event & Logistics Assistance:

Support logistics for special events, program activities, and community outreach efforts.

Assist with setup, coordination, and cleanup for programs and events.

Help collect participant feedback and assist with post-event follow-up communications.

Skills You Will Develop:

Practical experience in program coordination, educational planning, and event support.

Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

Insight into community engagement, nonprofit programming, and educational best practices.
