Position Title: Communications Officer Full Time

Mentor on the Lake Police Department is hiring for the position of Communications Officer. Candidates are required to complete the following to be considered for the position:

• NTN's Ecomm National Exam
• Personal History Questionnaire
• PSSA
• Typing Test
• Ecomm National Computer Simulations

Salary Information: $47,382.40- $56,451.20

Benefit Information: Competitive pay, medical, dental and vision benefits, 
retirement plan, deferred comp plan. This is a collective bargaining position.  

Department Overview: Mentor-on-the-Lake is a small vibrant bedroom community. The City has strong successful businesses and located in a beautiful area with an active, cohesive residential base.

Hiring Process:
Must participate in written exam, background investigation, polygraph examination, medical examination, psychological test, drug screening, and oral interview.

Essential Competencies:
Applicant must be a high school graduate or equivalent, computer literate with good word processing skills.

Work Schedule:
Fixed 8-hour permanent shift, assigned by seniority, including nights, weekends and holidays.
