Student Organization Founder (Premed Students)

Job Description
Are you a proactive premed student looking to make a significant impact in your community while enhancing your professional skills? Health-Link Society is seeking passionate leaders to establish and lead our new student chapters across university campuses in North America. As part of our mission, you will engage in public health initiatives, provide valuable community service, and gain unparalleled experience in preparation for professional schools.

About HLS
Health-Link Society (HLS) was launched in 2020 amidst the constraints of the COVID-19 pandemic by Zakaria Alyan and Shakibur Rahman, two visionary undergraduate students at Temple University. Their mission was to build a diverse and inclusive community of students with a passion for philanthropy and a keen interest in healthcare careers. Recognizing the lack of volunteering opportunities and the diminishing sense of community among students due to the pandemic, they swiftly acted to bridge this gap, fostering meaningful engagements between aspiring healthcare professionals and their local communities for mutual growth.

  • Establish and lead a Health-Link Society chapter at your university.

  • Organize and coordinate events in collaboration with local health initiatives and our national partners like the Gift of Life Marrow Registry, American Red Cross, Kaplan, and more.

Benefits

  • Empower Your Peers: Promote health awareness and wellness initiatives within your campus community with comprehensive training and resources.

  • Develop Leadership Skills: Gain valuable experience in leadership, event planning, and project management, supported by a network of HLS leaders and alumni.

  • Build Networks: Connect with health professionals, community leaders, and like-minded peers through exclusive webinars and workshops.

  • Drive Change: Lead innovative projects and campaigns addressing pressing health issues, making a real difference in your local community.
