Peak Amp Instruments is a fast-growing startup transforming how HVAC and data center professionals source and manage critical parts. We combine predictive analytics with a modern e-commerce experience to streamline procurement and reduce downtime for technical teams across North America.

What You’ll Do
As an E-Commerce & Product Data Intern, you will help build and manage our digital product catalog to support customer acquisition and operational growth. You’ll work directly with our Product Information Management (PIM) system, Plytix, and our BigCommerce storefront to ensure our products are organized, accurate, and easy to find.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include maintaining and updating product listings in BigCommerce, managing product data and attributes in Plytix, categorizing and tagging products for searchability and SEO, and writing or refining product descriptions and technical specs. You’ll also assist in launching and testing new features, such as our Bill of Materials tool, and collaborate with the marketing and design teams on digital asset needs. As needed, you may help with site merchandising and promotional planning.

Ideal Candidate
We’re looking for someone who is currently pursuing a degree in marketing, business, information systems, or a related field. You should feel comfortable working with spreadsheets and product data and be genuinely interested in digital commerce, technical products, or startup environments. Experience with BigCommerce, Shopify, Plytix, or basic HTML and CSS is a plus, but not required.
