Coordinator IV (AX1799)

Months/Years of Experience: Must possess a Bachelor's Degree in project management, finance,

business, engineering, or related discipline from accredited college/university and nine (9) years of experience in program finance or project management, including experience developing plans, budgets and schedules to meet project requirements; providing project status with regard to funding, schedule, and milestones; providing comparative analysis for budget and actual costs; validating costs; establishing and updating forms in multiple software packages to ensure customer has complete and accurate project information at all times; coordinating administrative, financial, and logistical aspects of project management to track the cost and schedule of tests; ensuring labor, flights, material, and travel charges are correct; communicating funding status to customers; monitoring and reporting performance against plans to ensure cost objectives are not exceeded; and reporting, analyzing and interpreting financial data from multiple sources.

 

Required Qualifications: U.S. Citizenship.  A valid driver’s license. Possess, or be able to obtain a DoD Security Clearance.  In addition, must be self-motivated, dependable, possess excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work independently and within a team environment. Must also possess excellent analytical and organizational skills with a commitment to customer satisfaction including attention to detail as well as supportive of process improvements. Must be a proficient user of MS Office (i.e., Outlook, Word, Excel, Project, One Note, and PowerPoint), and SharePoint.

 

Desired Qualifications: Experience with aviation, aviation technologies, or knowledge of different types of government funding are a plus.

 

Skills Needed: Prefer experience/skills coordinating projects; reviewing technical documents; compiling statistics and data for projects; developing integrated schedules; writing narratives. Good communicator, both orally and verbally. US Army Aviation experience preferred. 

 

Duties: Provide leadership and mentoring to AFTD Test Coordinators (TC). Assign work, align TC skills to projects, and facilitate standardization. Work with staff to ensure GFEBS, ADSS, CIMS, and PMM resources are allocated and updated. Assist the AFTD Senior Program Office (SPO) in management and oversight of AFTD business processes through: Providing comparative analysis for budgeted and actual costs; establishing and updating forms in multiple software packages to ensure complete and accurate project information; coordinating administrative, financial, and logistical aspects of project management to track program cost and schedule; ensuring labor, flight, material, and travel charges are correct; communicating funding status to customers; and reporting, analyzing and interpreting financial data from multiple sources. Microsoft Power BI experience preferred.
