After-School Sports Instructor (Elementary to Middle School)

Position Overview:
We are looking for a passionate and reliable Sports Instructor to join our after-school enrichment team, working with elementary and middle school students. Ideal candidates will have experience in education, coaching, or youth programs and enjoy creating a positive, energetic learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach and improve students' sports skills, including techniques and team-based strategies.
• Plan fun, age-appropriate training sessions that accommodate varying skill levels.
• Foster teamwork, sportsmanship, and understanding of game rules.
• Promote health and physical fitness through structured activities.
• Serve as a positive role model and mentor for students, both on and off the field.

Preferred Skills & Experience:

• Prior experience working with children in educational or recreational settings.
• Background in coaching, camp counseling, or youth sports programs.
• Basic understanding of child development and educational principles.
• First aid certification (preferred but not required).
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Enthusiasm for motivating and guiding young learners.

Schedule & Location:

• Location: San Jose
• Schedule: Fall After-School Program
• Expected hours: 1 – 2 per week
• Pay: $30–$37 per hour
