Members in the V24V network are investors, business-founders and artists, known as TropaNeurs.

 

Contract: 4-moon contract (with potential for an extension) 

Location: Remote

Role Description:

V24V is looking for a Biosphere Researcher. The ideal candidate is a superb communicator with a joy for aggregating data, conducting research and performing experiments in their local bioregion. Through applying the principles and methods of resonant science, the Biosphere Researcher evaluates results from studying birds, trees, plants and other native species to support a hypothesis and communicate findings to relevant stakeholders and organizations.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Participate in 13-Day Observations of dominant foraging bird species (songbirds and general birds) in their neighborhood, local parks, state parks and local forests. Record observations in surveys. Identify patterns. Evaluate findings and develop a hypothesis.
  2. Conduct research in levels of birdsong complexity and birdfriendliness metrics.
  3. Participate in 20-Day Observations of native tree and plant species, dynamic growth patterns, evidence of symbiotic relationships and other indicators of tree and plant health.
  4. Participate in 7-Day Observations of local river or lake water levels (rising/falling) and how its patterns correlate with the current lunar cycle (new moon, full moon, first quarter moon, last quarter moon, etc), current solar activity (X-class flares, M-class flares, geomagnetic storms, etc), average bioregional windspeeds and bioregional weather patterns (rainfall levels/frequencies, storm occurrences, heat index, warm fronts, cold fronts, etc).
  5. Write articles about Resonant Science and Citizen Science for V24V’s Substack.
  6. Work closely with V24V’s Chief Citizen Scientist to analyze data and visualize patterns from information collected by participants in V24V’s community-led Citizen Science projects.
  7. Work with Kin in a TropaNeur Tribe to complete group projects, attend Tactical and Governance Meetings and contribute to V24V’s organizational decision-making process.

Required Education & Work Experience:

  1. High school diploma
  2. Biology major, Animal Science major, Botany or other related Science major.
  3. Preferred Education: Excellent communication skills, basic writing skills, research skills, knowledge of Resonant Science and Morphic Fields 
     

Signing Bonus: $260

Project-Based Pay: $52 base + (max of 10 approved and completed projects per moon) 

Estimated Monthly Pay Range: $362-$1,242 USD

Company Equity Package: Interim and full dividends 

Pay Frequency: Bi-Weekly
